And not just any one! From Troy to the moon, no less! The exhibition focuses on the last thirteen wall panels of his heroic work, “Les blanques monjoies per a Odisseu” The artist designed these large sheets of clay as milestones marking the hero’s circuitous path between his departure and Ithaca, his point of arrival. They tell, as much as they describe with a marvelous economy of means, all the force of a founding myth. These are metaphors engraved, or rather printed, in a sumptuous material recalling all the roughness of the journey. And all around, during your own journey, you will pass between the splendid sculptures of the “Garden of the Full Moon” and the “Blocks” never before exhibited, with powers of temptation much greater than those of Circe herself!
