If Jin Eui Kim’s art has become a real phenomenon in England, it is undoubtedly because, beyond the absolute perfection of his technique, his objects offer a powerful questioning of the nature of visual perception. These are works that constantly dialogue with the light and the gaze, deploying their arpeggio of gray tones to dislocate the reading of their volumes and profiles. Thus, from classically Euclidean forms, the artist leads us towards a round of uncertainties where the seen and the perceived merge in a strange and fresh poetry.
