All of Claudi Casanovas’ art is the result of deep reflection. Despite the constant evolution of its formal language, its aim has always been the orchestration of fundamental confrontations between man and his history, taken in its broadest sense, and between man and his environment, seen, of course, as the inalienable foundation of all life.

Basically, even if the viewer is immediately placed under the tutelage of a deaf and imperious poetry, his art remains deeply intellectual. Here physics struggles with metaphysics, and cultural rooting must recognize its due to geological supremacy.
