Christiane Wilhelm’s pots delight us with their spirit of permanent invention, whether displayed in her sense of play between different volumes or in the wealth of her contrasting surfaces. Fashioned from a white stoneware body with a particularly fine grain, her works propose a spatial dialogue which is both fresh, disciplined and surprising. Firmly and delicately she guides us towards the universe of design without ever renouncing the primacy or the intimacy of her hand-crafted touch.
