Suzy Balkert is a Swiss. She creates a range of beautiful pots whose terra-sigillata surfaces are polished and smoked to achieve a rare level of beauty. Over the years, she has refined her repertoire to focus essentially on large flattened vases of rare elegance, where the wide opposing surfaces provide all the space she needs for her contemplative decorations.

She also produces a range of boxes and bowls, which despite their lack of glaze can still serve many different uses. Her splendid vases are intended for a decorative role.
