Jin Eui KIM

Si l’art de Jin Eui Kim est devenu un véritable phénomène en Angleterre, c’est sans nul doute parce que, au-delà de la perfection absolue de sa technique, ses objets proposent un questionnement percutant de la nature de la perception visuelle. Ce sont des œuvres qui dialoguent en permanence avec la lumière et le regard, déployant leur arpège de tons gris pour disloquer la lecture de leurs volumes et profils. Ainsi, à partir de formes classiquement euclidiennes, l’artiste nous mène vers une ronde d’incertitudes où le vu et le perçu se confondent dans une poésie étrange et fraîche. Jin vit et travaille à Cardiff.
