It’s that simple! For these four artists, the practice of design is the fundamental precept. Not to prepare an industrial production, but much more usually, to tackle the construction of the least of their sculptures. Without a detailed pre-study, there is no possibility of successfully creating their stoneware or porcelain pieces in the workshop. It is a delicate balance because, inevitably, freedom returns, even imposes itself, whether by the handling or the coloring of the surfaces or by the accentuation of the edges. By a combination of circumstances, the poetry resulting from this dialogue between premeditation and freedom, only continues the debate opened by the previous exhibition.
